MLK Day of Service

Make it a day ON! Join us on Monday, January 20, to celebrate Martin Luther King Jr.’s life and legacy with a day of service to the community. Join the Park District and our incredible partners from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Blakely Harbor Park.
Conservation projects for all ages are planned, including planting native wildflowers, mulching young plants, and removing invasive species like ivy, spurge laurel, and blackberry. Parks staff and knowledgeable volunteers will be on hand to share knowledge about the park and its restoration and provide all the tools needed for the job.
