“Brother Townsend is a four piece band based on the Olympic Peninsula of western Washington. They play rock music disguised as country or blues, depending on the mood. Their melodies harken back to classic bands such as CCR, while their lyrical prowess could conjure memories of the best of Petty or Dylan. Their live shows are absolute barn burners—at any given moment some will be dancing, while others will cry, while young lovers fall hopelessly into their madness. Theirs is working class music, written by and for the heart of humanity.”
